Salman Khan comes out in support of Aamir Khan’s PK after Subramanian Swamy accuses the film of having ISI link

Salman Khan hadn’t watched PK until very recently and none other than Aamir Khan revealed this little secret to us. But looks like Bhai finally found time from his busy schedule to watch his jigree dost‘s new release which is embroiled in controversies every since it hit the theatres. And that’s not it the actor has even voiced support for his buddy’s film.
The Kick actor posted on his Twitter page, “Is PK not an amazzziiiiing film?” Knowing Salman one had expected him to speak in support of Aamir Khan. After all haven’t we seen this generous B-towner promote even his competitors films in the past.
Aamir’s PK faced political ire after Baba Ramdev demanded a ban on the film. Rajkumar Hirani’s movie got into an even more heated situation after former union cabinet minister and BJP member Subramanian Swamy suggested that the film had Dubai and ISI connections.

Salman Khan had spark even then: Alok Nath on 25 years of 'Maine Pyar Kiya'

Bollywood superstar Salman's debut movie Maine Pyar Kiya completed 25 successful years this week and veteran actor Alok Nath, who played Bhagyashree's father's role, remembered Salman's commitment during the shoot and said that "he had the spark even then".
In an interview given to a news website, Alok is quoted while lauding Salman's honesty that helped him sustain in the industry for approximately 25 years now. As much as Salman's smile charms his female fans, his hot bod is enough to make women go weak in the knees for him even now. It is learnt that Salman used to carry his dumbbells to the sets and exercise before certain shots that needed him to show a beefed up body.
Maine Pyar Kiya—a love story of a rich brat and village-bred girl—went on to become a superhit back in 1989. But, it came across as a surprise to Nath, who had never imagined it to become such a huge hit. He said, "The best thing about Maine Pyar Kiya is that it has not turned vintage or old yet. People still remember, love and watch it whenever it is played which in itself is a stupendous feeling."

Rani Mukherjee Compares Salman Khan With Rajinikanth

Rani Mukherjee, who was last seen in “Mardaani”, went all gaga over Salman Khan on his birthday. The actress couldn’t hold back her fondness and admiration for Salman Khan and took to her Twitter account on Saturday to wish the actor a very happy birthday. The actress tweeted, “Wishing my dear friend, most loved superstar, the being human Salman Khan a very happy birthday! :)”

Rani went further on, comparing Salman Khan with Rajnikanth in her one of tweets. The actress tweeted, “Salman is a cult figure.. Just as the South has Rajinikanth, we have Salman! #HappyBirthdaySalmanKhan ”.
Rani Mukherjee is not only fan of Salman Khan movies, but also a huge fan of Salman Khan-hosted reality TV show “Bigg Boss 8″ and she missed him on Saturday’s episode, she even tweeted about it. She wrote, “Tonight’s @BiggBoss-Comedy Nights special is too hilarious. Loving it. Kapil, you’re damn funny!! :) @ColorsTV #nowwatching. Missing Salman but no worry he’ll be back tomorrow to entertain us. :) #BB8.”

Rani’s admiration towards Salman Khan is justified; after all, both of them gave couple of hits together and are everyone’s favourite duo. Rani and Salman shared the big screen in famous films such as “Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega“, “Baabul“, “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke“, “Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye” and “Hello Brother”. She not only shares an amazing on-screen chemistry with Salman, but they are really great friends off screen as well.

Salman Khan, Jacqueline Lend Star Power to Rajapaksa's Poll Campaign

Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan on Monday virtually endorsed Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Presidential poll campaign by being  the chief guest at a charity medical camp organized by “Tharunya Hetak” the ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party’s youth front headed by Namal Rajapaksa, the President’s eldest son. Present on the occassion was President Rajapaksa himself and a large section of partymen.
Salman did not make any political statement.He merely mingled with the crowd of patients and partymen, waved at the crowd, fondled babies and posed for photographs.
Though there was nothing overtly political at the function, Khan’s participation in Tharunya Hetak’s public event in the run up to the January 8, 2015 Presidential election is seen in political circles as an endorsement of Rajapaksa’s election campaign.
The cine heart throb from Mumbai was accompanied by Sri Lanka’s own Bollywood star and Salman protege, Jacqueline Fernandesz, who is also known to be close to the Rajapaksas. Salman has known the Rajapaksas for sometime now. He has previously performed at shows in Colombo  organized by clubs in which Namal Rajapaksa is a prominent member.
Despite his closeness to the Rajapaksas, Salman is not the numero uno among the Troika of Bollywood Khans, as far as Sri Lankan fikm fans are concerned.
Perhaps this was why the compere-cum-financier of Monday’s event, ruling party  MP Thilanga Sumathipala, kept referring to Salman as “Shahrukh”. Sumathipala even ended his speech with a resounding “Shahrukh Khan ta Jayawewa!” (Victory to Shahrukh Khan).
