Meet Salman Khan, The New Jewellery Designer!

Bollywood’s beloved superstar Salman Khan is now the face of the jewellery brand PNG Jewellers. For which Salman flew all the way to Dubai to be part of the inauguration. Much like his fan following in India, streets of Dubai were stormed with crazy fans trying to catch a glimpse of the superstar.

Salman Khan was invited to be part of three events. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor first inaugurated the new jewellery store which was a traditional Indian ceremony followed by line of rituals. After cutting the ribbon, Salman was honoured with the duty of lighting the diya at the launch of the jewellery store. Dressed casually, he was accompanied to the event by his trusted bodyguard Shera.
A few lucky fans got the opportunity to meet and greet with Salman Khan during the jewellery store launch. Few of them also clicked selfies with the Dabangg Khan. After the event Salman Khan was escorted to a press conference held at a hotel in Dubai. During which Salman casually talked about his films, his future plans and even merrily mentioned a few things about his plans of a married life with kids and a loving wife.
Post the group media addressing Salman Khan attended the fancy dinner arranged by PNG Jewellery. He was seen mingling with the guests and appreciating the hospitality. The Being Human founder has also contributed some of his own designs for the jewellery store. Being a painter himself, Salman Khan was also seen adoring the paintings displayed at the hotel during his stay in Dubai.
Salman Khan is currently shooting for two of his upcoming movies Bajrangi Bhaijaan with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo opposite Sonam Kapoor.

Is it Salman Khan versus Sanjay Dutt in ‘Shuddhi’?

If things go as planned, we might see presently jailed actor Sanjay Dutt taking on Salman Khan in Karan Johar’s production Shuddhi.

Reports suggest that Dharma Productions has approached Sanjay Dutt to play a significant role with negative shades in director Karan Malhotra’s film 'Shuddhi'. Dutt had played the menacing and evil Kancha Cheena in Malhotra’s first film Agneepath as well.

'Shuddhi' has seen much shuffling in its cast ensemble. Originally, it was slated to have Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in leading roles. But Kareena bowed out last year, followed by Hrithik. Later on, Karan reportedly approached Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for the same roles, but they too chose Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani over 'Shuddhi'.

Finally, Karan Johar sealed the deal with Salman Khan.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are very good friends in real life and have even hosted one season of ‘Bigg Boss’ together. But if Sanjay is indeed roped in as the film’s villain, it will be interesting to see them taking on each other on screen.

Another thing that might be bothersome to the producer is the fact that Dutt is presently doing time in Yerawada Prison in Pune. He’s been sentenced to five-year imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case for illegal possession of arms. Since he had already served one-and-a-half years behind bars before the Supreme Court judgment in March 2013, he’ll now serve the remaining three-and-a-half years in Yerawada Jail. Which means that Dutt won’t be a free man before the end of 2016.

So the question is: when will Dutt’s scenes be shot as 'Shuddhi' is slated to release on Diwali 2016? Will they be shot during the furlough?

Salman Khan’s Inmate Mahesh Siani Reveals His Prison Days With The Superstar

Mahesh stated, “Before I met Salman I wasn’t really interested in him, but when I met him and got to know him personally I got to know how good he is as a human being.”

Salman Khan gets kissed by a mysterious woman on V-Day

Salman Khan has recently been spotted with a mystery woman. A pretty lady decked up in all the silver jewellery complementing her black traditional ensemble posed with Salman and got clicked as she gave him a peck on his cheek.
The actor who was also quite suavely dressed up in a solid black shirt showed pleasure with that wide grin on his face as he posed with the woman.
And all this happened on Valentine’s Day!

Salman Khan Hit And Run Case: Chemical Analyst Expert’s Statement

Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case have now come up on the next stage. During the last hearing, all the records of Salman Khan’s licence and legal paper regarding to it were examined. After checking all the records, RTO officer found that the actor had no driving license in his name when the incident of hit and run occurred in 2002. Now on February 12, chemical analyst Bala Shankar was asked to present in the court the blood samples taken during the time of accident.
During the cross examination on Thursday, expert analyst told the court that he received 6 ml of the blood for the analysis during the time of the accident. Later, he said that when he measured the blood sample it was 4 ml. He also stated that he could not read the name of Salman Khan properly which was written on the name tag of the blood sample tube.
Expert analyst was questioned and investigated by the defense regarding the blood sample he took during the time of the accident. He said he did not know anything about the new methods of analyzing the blood samples. He also said that he was just 16 days for the retirement so he was not aware about the new methods.
Salman Khan’s lawyer, Shrikant Shivade, will continue to cross-examine him today. The trial had examined the analyst to establish that Salman had liquor before his car met with accident in suburban Bandra on September 28, 2002, killing one person and injuring four.

The actor has denied that he was on the wheel during the accident in 2002. If convicted, he could spend up to 10 years in prison.

Salman Khan Visits City Of Gold

Bollywood’s biggest star Salman Khan who is busy shooting for his upcoming movies Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, took some time out from his busy schedule for the opening of a jewellery brand in Dubai.

The actor landed up in Dubai on Friday to launch the new jewellery brand store. Salman Khan becomes the new face for the jewellery brand along with actress Madhuri Dixit. This is for the first time that the star would be endorsing a brand over seas.
Its Salman Khan’s year for all the fans as his presence is felt all over the globe, as he is accepting international projects now.
Previously Salman Khan visited Canada for the launch of Dr.Cabbie and later to Sri Lanka along with his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez to support Sri Lankan candidate Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Reports are also that the actor turned producer will launch his own Being Human Mineral Water soon, which would be a deal of around 15 crore.

Being Human is Salman Khan’s foundation, registered under the charitable trust for the cause of under privileged children.

Salman Khan to turn scriptwriter with 'Kick' sequel?

The buzz in the tinsel town states that Salman will write the story and screenplay of the film. The sequel of  'Kick' is based on Salman Khan's idea and it's tentatively named 'Devil'.

A source close to the actor revealed the idea of the film stroke director Sajid Khan during a casual chat with Salman. Impressed with Salman's idea, the director asked him to pen down script for the movie.

Salman Khan starrer 'Kick', was a huge hit in 2014. The film raked in Rs 225.1 crore at the box office, while it minted Rs 366.72 crore globally.

Helmed by Sajid Nadiawala, 'Kick' also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.

Salman Khan one of the kindest co-stars I’ve worked with: Sonam Kapoor

Having recovered from a respiratory infection, actress Sonam Kapoor talks about her illness and how protective her co-star Salman Khan is about her.

Actress Sonam Kapoor, who was hospitalised earlier this week after she suffered respiratory infection on the sets of Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", says she is fine now.

Speaking after being discharged from hospital, the actress said: "It was basically a respiratory infection and para-typhoid. I was in hospital for four days."

Bollywood's fashionista also posted a picture of herself on a social networking site with a drip attached to her hand.

Though, her father and actor Anil was in Los Angeles when Sonam Kapoor was unwell, Anil kept a tab on her health.

“He was naturally very worried when he heard I was in hospital. It's not a nice thing for a father to hear his daughter is unwell when he's not in the country.

“I had no intentions of going public about my health setback. But then for some technical reasons I had to put a picture up of me in hospital. My father has been messaging me every day non-stop," she said.

The actress also noted that her co-star Salman Khan was also very anxious about her state of health.

"He (Salman) is one of the kindest and most considerate co-stars I've worked with. He keeps an eye on me, asks if I am okay when I am quiet. We had worked together in my first film 'Saawariya'. I guess he has been protective of me since then," she said.

Sonam is now back to work. She started shooting for Barjatya's films Wednesday, and also attended an awards function in the evening.

Salman Khan Stalls Bajrangi Bhaijaan Shoot For Pet Dog

Salman Khan’s love for kids is very well known by everyone. But little did we know that Salman Khan’s love for his pet dogs is also not less. The love for his pet dogs is legendary in movies as well as in real life.

According to the reports, when the actor got the news that his pet dog Sandy is unwell, he left the shooting of his upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan and came back to Mumbai.
News report says that as soon as actor got the news that Sandy is not eating well and is ill, without wasting time he flew back to Mumbai, Saturday morning. The actor spent an entire day with his pet and flew back for the shooting to Rajasthan late evening.
Salman Khan’s love for his pet dogs is unconditional. Before Salman Khan had two pet dogs MySon and MyJaan. After MySon’s death in 2009, MyJaan also went ill and passed away later.
In order to raise the fund for the Bombay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA), the actor also donated a picture of him with his pet dogs to the BSPCA to spread awareness about the animal welfare.

Salman Khan is fond of his pet Sandy after he lost his two pets MySon and MyJaan in 2009. Well, there is no end to his generous side nature.

Salman Khan cancelled the shoot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan – here’s why!

Salman Khan, who was recently shooting for his upcoming film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan along with co-star Kareena Kapoor in Rajasthan decided to put the shoot on hold and fly back to Mumbai. But why? Well, as we all know the Dabangg Khan love for dog is legendary – on reel as well as on real life. So when he received the news of his dog, Sandy being unwell, he cancelled the shoot and rushed home.
“When Salman got to know that Sandy was ill and not eating, he wasted no time in flying down to Mumbai on Saturday morning. He spent the entire day by his pet’s side and flew back to Rajasthan late evening. Though he is away, he has constantly been inquiring about his dog’s health,” a source close to the Kick actor was quoted by a tabloid.
Before Sandy, the actor had two Bull Mastiffs — Myson and Myjaan. After Myson’s death in 2009, Myjaan took ill a few months later and passed away.

We had earlier reported that Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan along with co-stars Kareena Kapoor, director Kabir Khan and good friend music composer Himesh Reshammiya visited the village of Hatluni in Karjat and decided to help the villagers by doing something simple, but extravagant in its own way for them.

Salman Khan started painting the village in the evening which went long till night. The village had no street lights, but somehow the actor managed to continue painting using torches and headlights of motorbikes.
The entire team of Bajrangi Bhaijaan joined Salman Khan for this initiative. Himesh Reshammiya, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kabir Khan were also seen working had with Salman.

Salman copies Shah Rukh's signature pose at an awards night

If you are a Bollywood buff, there are less chances that you would have missed Shah Rukh Khan's signature pose with his arms wide open. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif named India’s Most Admired actors

Former lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have emerged the most admired actors in a survey conducted by YouGov.com.

Salman Khan, whose film Kick was the second highest grosser of 2014 (after P.K.), is the top film star in the ‘India’s Most Admired 2015’ survey conducted by online market research portal Yougov.com which is based in London.

While Indian PM Narendra Modi scored most points to emerge as the number one most admired, the second spot is taken by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and the third place by the Microsoft tycoon and philanthropist Bill Gates. Salman comes fourth but is the top Bollywood star in the survey’s top ten results.
The top Bollywood actress is Katrina Kaif who takes the fifth spot among Most Admired Women. The first spot is obviously taken by Pakistan’s Nobel winner Malala Yousafzai. Katrina, it may be noticed, has emerged more admired than the Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.

Kareena Kapoor comes ninth in the most admired list, but is the second Bollywood actress in the top ten.

Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor are presently working together in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

Incidentally, Salman Khan was also named the highest earning actor for the year 2014 by Forbes a few months back.
