Bollywood’s heartthrob Salman Khan who is celebrating his success for the recent released film Bajrangi Bhaijaan expressed his desire to meet and speak to the very famous Pakistani journalist Chand Nawab whose character was played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film.
Chand Nawab’s character played by actor Nawazuddin in Bajrangi Bhaijaan was quite hilarious and that the audiences cant get over that scene from the film. Recently during a press conference in Karaj, Salman Khan who attended media post Bajrangi Bhaijaan success said, “I would love to speak to him one day. Kabir spoke to him already and now I wish too. He is really a sweet person…for the first we thought that he would case on us.”
Speaking on the fame and that the Pakistani journalist is receiving in Pakistan, Salman Khan said that he deserves to be a celebrity, in fact he is already a celebrity. “He deserves to be…because he was already a celebrity and that’s why we took that character in the film,” he said.

Well, Chand Nawad is on the moon since his character from the film has got famous. No wonder now Salman Khan wants to meet this super hit Internet sensation Chand Nawab who is a Pakistani journalist.
Salman Khan who was enjoying talking about his film was also asked if he would like to star any of the Indian journalists in his next film, to which the actor replied very smartly. He said, “You all are stars behind the cameras. You people are already stars…seriously. Sometimes these stars get positive and negative too.”
Earlier, Chand Nawab who got success and fame due to Bajrangi Bhaijaan had said that he is thankful to all his friends that this film has given him fame and that the love he received from Pakistan people.
The reporter shared the hardships faced after the video was leaked online. At first he was worried because he thought his career might be ruined, but his friends and family members told him to have patience and assured him that one day he will get success.

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s Fourth Weekend Collections

Only recently Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan broke yet another record by crossing 300 crore mark at the Box Office and on its fourth weekend, the film continues to earn more and big. On its fourth weekend run at the Box Office, the family drama film managed to collect Rs. 7.25 crore net (72.5 million) approx. With this, the total business of Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan stands on Rs. 306.05 crore net (3060.5 million) approx at the Box Office.
After earning Rs. 1.25 crore net (12.5 million) approx. on its fourth Friday at the Box Office, the film saw a good jump on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs. 2.70 crore net (27 million) approx. and then on Saturday, the film had a better jump as it pulled in Rs. 3.30 crore net (33 million) approx at the Box Office. The film had a very successful fourth weekend run, which we rarely see in the case of any other Bollywood films.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has not only crossed 300 crore mark but it continues to do a good business at the Box Office even after so many days.

The moment Salman Khan’s family drama film Bajrangi Bhaijaan hit the theatres, it was predicted that the film was in for a good and long run. On its first weekend itself, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer film crossed 100 crore mark at the Box Office, leaving the audiences stunned with its heart touching story. With this, Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has become the second highest collector after Aamir Khan’s PK.
The cross border drama by director Kabir Khan tells us a story of a soft-hearted big Bajrangi devotee, Pavan, who sets out on a journey to help a little mute Pakistani girl reach safely back to her homeland. The film featured Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of Rashika, whereas Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a Pakistani journalist. Harshaali Malhotra won hearts with her performance as the little girl in the film.

Rekha to play Salman Khan’s mom in 'Sultan'?

Rumour has it that veteran actress Rekha will play mom to superstar Salman Khan in the YRF movie ‘Sultan’.

We know how fond Rekha and Salman are of each other. We saw their bonding when she appeared on ‘Bigg Boss’ last year to promote her movie ‘Super Nani’.

Now, the two are reportedly set to strike a different chemistry as mom and son in director Ali Abbas Zafar’s movie ‘Sultan’ which is slated to release on Eid next year, but whose shooting hasn’t yet begun.

The movie will have Salman Khan playing a wrestler, and from all accounts, Rekha is tipped to play his mom.

A confirmation from YRF is still awaited.

The production house hasn’t yet confirmed the film’s leading lady as well.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar has gone scouting locations in Punjab.

Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor spotted at Mehboob Studios

Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor were spotted and clicked together at Mehboob Studios on Sunday evening. Sonam particularly caught our eye in a stunning red look.

Salman Khan posed in front of Bajrangi Bhaijaan billboards and was apparently at the studio for the promotions. Sonam Kapoor was there for a shoot.

The two will be seen together in director Sooraj Barjatya’s movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and were recently shooting for it in Karjat.

The film has Salman Khan in a double role and Sonam Kapoor playing a royal princess.

Salman Khan shying away from media? Actor to skip Bajrangi Bhaijaan promotions

After going through intense media scrutiny recently, Salman Khan has decided to stay away from the limelight for some time. The actor will apparently not promote his home production, starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, or his next, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, to avoid facing the media.

Owing to the recent developments in the 2002 hit-and-run case, Salman thinks that the media will invariably ask him about his court hearings and the sentence suspension if he is part of the promotional activities. 

uniel Shetty (father of Athiya) and Zarina Wahab (mother of Sooraj) had visited Salman last week after the court verdict. Since they have entrusted him with the responsibility of launching their kids, it’s likely that they know about the actor’s decision. Kabir Khan, the director of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has also been informed about the actor’s stance.

Setback for Salman Khan

In a setback to Salman Khan, the district and sessions court in Jodhpur on Thursday rejected his revision petition for re-examination of five witnesses in a case of violations of the Arms Act.
Jodhpur District and Sessions Judge Manoj Kumar Vyas while upholding the decision of the chief judicial magistrate refused to interfere in the subordinate court’s decision.
Khan through his advocate moved an application before the CJM court on April 22 demanding re-examination of five witnesses.
Counsel for the actor said that after three eight-year-old applications of the prosecution were allowed and four witnesses were examined a few days back, the scenario of the case has changed.
However, the application was dismissed by the CJM court on April 23. Khan had challenged this order by way of filing a revision petition before the district and sessions court.
Replying to the arguments made by Khan’s advocate, the public prosecutor alleged in the court that actor was trying to delay the verdict. He raised strong objections on the petition.
“We will examine the decision of the court as soon as we get a copy of it and may avail an appropriate legal remedy,” Hastimal Saraswat, advocate of Khan, said without commenting on the verdict.
Khan and a few other Bollywood actors are accused of poaching blackbucks on the midnight of October 1-2, 1998, during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Khan is accused of carrying and using illegal arms and also of carrying arms with expired licence. A case of violation of provisions of the Arms Act was registered against him.
