Salman Khan trial under Arms Act to resume from September 21

The trial of the case against actor Salman Khan under the Arms Act which has been stayed since May 4 will now resume from September 21. The trial court today ordered defence counsel H M Saraswat to call five prosecution witnesses for re-examination on September 21, 23 and 24. 
Saraswat said two witnesses would appear on September 21 and 23 each whereas one witness would appear on September 24. ”Those who would appear on September 21 are Shiv Charan (Forest Department) and Rajat Kumar Mishra (the then DM), while Udai Raghwan (who produced arms in question in the court) and Vijay Narayan (the then DCP) would appear on September 23,” he said, adding that investigation officer of the case, the then ASP Ashok Patni will appear on September 24.
