Bollywood actor Salman Khan says that marriage is not for a lifetime.
Salman, 49, who is considered one of Bollywood's most eligible bachelors, was asked at the press conference of his upcoming TV show when he would 'get double.'

The actor quipped, "I have got double since Maine Pyaar Kiya and now I will turn triple for Sultan. Marriage is not for the lifetime. In which generation are you living in? Not happening."
He later asked the reporter, "You want me to get married temporary or permanent?"
When he was advised not to get married, Salman said, "Nice debate. Some saying get married, some saying don't get married. Are you all trying to convince me or demoralise me?"
The format of this season of Bigg Boss is Double Trouble. The show will go on air from October 11 on Colors Channel.
Salman is looking forward to his next release, Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and has begun training for his film Sultan which is being produced by Aditya Chopra.

Salman Khan' and 'Shah Rukh Khan' are on sale in the goat markets here in Uttar Pradesh where sellers have named goats after the Bollywood stars, hoping to woo customers ahead of Eid on Friday.
The simmering rivalry between the two Khans has found its echo in the markets of the state capital where many sacrificial goats named after celebrities can be found.
And so, in the market here is an over-sized goat named 'Salman', while a dark-coloured goat named 'SRK' too is on display.
The prices of celebrity goats hover between Rs.15,000 and Rs.1 lakh as prospective buyers ponder over their Eid buy. They have other celebrities to choose from as goats named after Bollywood and sports icons are also on the offer.
The 'Bakar Mandis' (goat markets) in the old city, Alambagh and Nishatganj and at the Jama Masjid road near Munshi Puliya in Indiranagar are also crowded.
There is a 'Sania', named after tennis ace 'Sania Mirza', vying for the attention of buyers.
The Jamnapari, Dumba and Ajmeri breeds of goats are up for sale, and like previous years, this year too they are high in demand.
Sajid, owner of many a celebrity goat from Nakkhas in old city, said he treats the goat herd with great care and affection. He owns a 125-kg goat named 'Barfi' - his fondness for the sweetmeat 'barfi' inspired the name.
The owners said that to keep the goats bulky but good looking, they feed them special diet of "chana, matar, vegetable leaves, almonds and honey".
While the celebrity sacrificial goats are in high demand, there is a category of goats with heavenly, spiritual and religious marks on them which are graded higher.
A goat from Sadatganj in old Lucknow is said to have a star and moon occurring naturally on its body and is priced at Rs.2 lakh. The lawyer of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has filed an appeal against his conviction and five years' prison term in the 2002 hit-and-run case, today told the Bombay High Court that testimonies of the prosecution witnesses were inconsistent and unreliable.
The sessions court had on May 6 found Salman guilty of ramming his Toyota Land Cruiser into a shop in suburban Bandra in a drunken state state, leading to death of one person and injury of four others who were sleeping on the p ..
While Salman Khan is busy shooting for Big Boss 9 and Sultan, his 2002 hit and run case continues at the Bombay High Court. During the last hearing on September 15, the court had fixed a daily hearing of the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star’s appeal against conviction from September 21, however today itself the case was adjourned for two weeks.
Salman, who is currently out on bail was convicted by a sessions court on May 6 this year on various counts, including culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Earlier this month, the Bombay High Court had even dismissed two applications seeking cancellation of Khan’s bail and enhancement of five-year jail term awarded to him in the 2002 hit-and-run case.
The Bombay High Court had also directed its registry to prepare a fresh paper-book, a compilation of documentary evidence in the 2002 accident case and conviction of Salman Khan, earlier as it was not made properly as per rules. The case will now recommence on October 5 this year.

Actress Elli Avram does not like to reveal the career tips she gets from actor Salman Khan.
Elli, 25, got noticed after participating on the seventh season of celebrity reality show Bigg Boss, which was hosted by Salman. "I am grateful for whatever he has done for me. But personal stuff like what he has advised me, why should I talk about it. The way he was praising me (on the show) is like a blessing as it was coming from a superstar like him," Elli told PTI.
The 25-year-old actress, who made her film debut with Mickey Virus last year, said she was happy to have Salman as a guide.
"I feel happy to be noticed. I am happy that I have someone, who I can contact. He loves to help people I am glad I am one of those who he is helping," she said.

Salman Khan is all set to essay the role of a wrestler in his next, Sultan. We hear, the actor will be going through a strict regimen to attain a particular weight and increase his muscular mass. Currently, Salman is wrapping up the shoot of his upcoming Diwali release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and after that he will first start working on his look.
It seems the Sultan shoot will commence only once the actor is in right shape. We may expect Salman to promote Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in his Sultan look.
Since Sultan is slated to release next Eid, the makers will be shooting in a speedy process. The shooting will take place in maximum two schedules.
In the meanwhile, we are yet to learn who will be Salman’s leading lady in the film. Anushka Sharma recently confirmed that she is not working on Sultan. The film is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
Hero’ box office collections rest on superstar Salman Khan’s
pulling power without him actually having any role to play in the movie
– he is the producer. ‘Hero’ stars newcomers and, even though they may
have the backing of Salman Khan, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty
performances can alter that only a little.
Salman Khan has gone all out to promote the movie. He has even
promised fans that he will personally sign theatre tickets and all they
have to do is post them to him. He announced this on Twitter in his

‘Hero’ has been well promoted and everyone who goes to watch movies
is aware of the fact that it released today as well as the link with
Salman Khan. The theme of the movie is modern and youngsters would be
willing to give it a try. Whether it will appeal to a wider audience is
unclear.
In the end, the question that requires to be answered is whether
Salman Khan’s ‘call-to-action’ is appealing enough for his fan-hordes to
descend on theatres to watch ‘Hero’. Indubitably, Salman Khan has hyped
up Sooraj Pancholi immensely and if that gets successfully translated
on ground, the sky is the limit.
One thing going in Hero’s favour is that it will not face any
competition from rivals as no top-draw movie is releasing alongside and
neither is any other strong rival looming from the previous week.
By late Friday evening, reports indicated that ‘Hero’ day 1 occupancy
rate was 35-40%. That is just a little above average. It is clear that
Salman Khan’s promoting power is having to battle hard against all the
reviews which have more or less panned the movie. With the weekend upon
us, it remains to be seen, how the audiences will react. Much will
depend on word of mouth feedback, which if positive, will bring people
to theatres. However, expectations are that the box office collections
will improve only to an extent.
Salman Khan is all over the small screen. No, ‘Bigg Boss’ is yet to be aired on the idiot box, but Salman has made an appearance in ‘Dance+’, ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’, and ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. Interestingly, Salman in his ‘Being Human’ avatar is accompanied by two debutante stars Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, who will soon be debuting in ‘Hero’, directed by Nikhil Advani.
Incidentally, the two newcomers in question come with famous Bollywood surnames. Sooraj is the son of popular hero Aditya Pancholi and critically acclaimed actress Zarina Wahab while Athiya is the daughter of Suneil Shetty, famous action hero of the 90s.
Salman has believed in mentoring newcomers, largely dominated by filmi-background.
Being one of the co-producers along with Subhash Ghai, it is understandable that Salman has been taking deep interest in the movie. True to his reputation of being a messiah to all the newcomers with famous surnames, Salman is ready to promote the two newcomers as much as possible. The actor crooned a title track for Hero, which incidentally is a remake of 1983 hit of the same name, directed by Ghai, starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri. Newcomers Sooraj and Athiya, have evoked huge interest ever since the movie was announced. Sooraj’s name was embroiled in the Jiah Khan suicide case, while Athiya has been a head turner on Instagram.
Bollywood dynasties rule in the Hindi film industry, where every big filmmaker intends to cast a star kid. This automatically fuels up huge PR gimmicks, elevates media hype and pumps up public attention. Being the movie loving nation, the audience identify with the star-kids carrying the lineage of their parents. Thus, the anticipation over the launch of the star kids automatically increases, building up the hype for the film.
Salman has always enjoyed being the godfather and has been kind towards children of his co-stars struggling to find a feat in the industry.
Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor and Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi, the famous overweight brats of rich families are the biggest success stories launched by Salman. It was on the insistence of Salman that the two youngsters progressed from fat to fab.
Salman was equally supportive of Sonam Kapoor when she made a debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Sawaariya’, in which Salman made a guest appearance. The list is long starting from Bilal Amrohi, grandson of late filmmaker Kamal Amrohi, who too was mentored by Salman as debuted in ‘O Teri’. The buzz made rounds that Salman would be promoting youngsters like Raza Murad’s son Ali Murad, Danny Denzongpa’s son Rinzing Denzongpa and late Vijay Anand’s son Vaibhav Anand.
Filmmakers like Mahesh Bhatt, Ram Gopal Varma and Anurag Kashyap have been well known for launching new talents regarddless of their backgrounds and surname baggage. Salman has believed in mentoring newcomers, largely dominated by filmi-background. This is a phenomenon that can be conveniently equated with the quota system that offers seats to a section of the society based on the caste. The seats in Bollywood are clearly booked for big filmi surnames.
