Hit-and-run case: Salman Khan's lawyer seeks to pick holes in witnesses' accounts

The lawyer of actor Salman Khan told the Bombay High Court that testimonies of the prosecution witnesses were inconsistent and unreliable.

The lawyer of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has filed an appeal against his conviction and five years' prison term in the 2002 hit-and-run case, today told the Bombay High Court that testimonies of the prosecution witnesses were inconsistent and unreliable. 

The sessions court had on May 6 found Salman guilty of ramming his Toyota Land Cruiser into a shop in suburban Bandra in a drunken state state, leading to death of one person and injury of four others who were sleeping on the p ..
