Finally Salman Khan Meets His Bihar Fan

Finally Salman Khan Meets His Bihar Fan

A month ago we had reported on Salman Khan’s birthday that a big fan Ratan Ranjan had travelled all the way from Bihar to Panvel to meet Salman Khan.
Die hard fan following cycled almost 1800 km to meet his superstar Salman Khan. The boy in his 20s was found standing with a collage photograph and a gift with his cycle outside Salman Khan’s Panvel farm house. Where Salman had organized his midnight birthday bash.
The picture also had Salman Khan’s Autograph on it. The cycle had a cardboard banner in which he had mentioned; ‘I am coming from Bihar with my cycle to meet’.
And guess what Salman Khan meets his fan couple of days ago to fulfill his wish who has travelled all the way from Bihar to meet him. Salman Khan met Ratan on the sets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan days ago. We came across a picture on instagram where Salman Khan and Ratan pose together after their meet.

We all know how down to earth Salman Khan is and he would never make his fans upset whatsoever.
Previously also during Salman Khan’s sister Arpita’s wedding, Ratan Ranjan a die hard fan of him cycled almost 1800 kilometers from Bihar to Hyderabad to show his love towards the star as well as catching a glimpse of him. But Salman Khan couldn’t meet him.
The guy has met Dabaang Khan and makes his journey from Bihar to Mumbai worth.

Salman Khan Hit And Run Case: A New Twist Will Favor The Actor?

Salman

The hit and run case of 2002, involving actor Salman Khan has taken a sudden new turn. With the doctor now claiming that he bungled Salman’s blood sample because he was never taught the right procedure.
As per the law, two handbooks called as the medico-legal handbooks have been issued by the government, for the doctors to refer during such cases. The doctor who tested Salman Khan’s blood samples admitted that he wasn’t even aware of the existence of these handbooks, and that he used common procedures to go about the case.
As per the handbook, 5ml of blood sample was to be collected, but the doctor admitted to collecting only 3ml of Salman’s blood. What is more shocking is that, these copies of the said handbooks have not been printed for over the past two decades.

The doctor also stated that he had been searching for those books to learn about the correct procedure but failed to find it anywhere in the city. He was himself shocked to learn that majority of the medical associates did not know about the existence of such a book. Thus, like everyone else he had to rely upon ‘guidance from seniors’.
The doctor also seems to have filed a complaint regarding the same requesting the government to undertake the publishing of new books as the Civil Medical Code and Hospital Administration books are not available with several hospitals, but no action has been taken yet.
This new turn might work strongly for Salman Khan’s defense. The 50-year-old actor was charged with hit and run case, where he was driving his vehicle under the influence of alcohol and injuring few pedestrians.

That’s right! 60th Filmfare Awards is all set to commence and going by the rehearsal pictures that is coming out, it seems to be a star studded night.
Earlier we showed you how Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor where rehearsing tirelessly for the show. Here are a few more pictures of stars like – Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan. Ranbir was also seen chatting up with Varun Dhawan, who will also be performing at the awards show tonight. Ranbir and Varun were seen taking a break from rehearsals and catching up with each other. Looks like the boys were exchanging tips about each others’ dances!
Alia Bhatt is all set sizzle the night as she is not only performing but also hosting a segment of the show along with comedian Kapil Sharma. Going by Alia’s reputation of being blonde, and Kapil’s sense of humour, the two are set to bring the house down. Last year, Salman Khan surprised many when he graced the prestigious 59th Filmfare Awards and walked the red carpet almost after 15 years. Not only he turned up at the starry event, the Being Human superstar also took the center stage and enthralled one and all present at the venue with his performance. Even this year, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star is gearing to set the stage on fire with his quirky dance moves.
Also, Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor are all set to share the stage for hosting a segment of the show. After they took, each other’s case in AIB Knockout, it would be fun to see what this duo will pull off this time around.

Doctor's statement strengthens defence claim in Salman Khan's hit-and-run case

Further strengthening the defence lawyer's claim in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Bollywood star Salman Khan, that the government hospital did not follow the due procedure while collecting the actor's blood sample, the doctor who took blood samples on Saturday said that the band-aid strip of the sealed sample could have been tampered with and that he did not take any acknowledgment while passing on the samples to the police.
"It can be possible that the band-aid strip of the sealed sample which contained the blood sample of actor Salman Khan, could be removed and pasted back to the sample," said the doctor, Shashikant Pawar, while his statement was recorded before the Sessions court, presided over by judge D W Deshpande. Dr Pawar further mentioned that after he handed over the blood samples to the police constables, he did not take any acknowledgment from the police for the same.
Advocate Shrikant Shiwade, who appeared on behalf of the actor, while grilling the doctor asked him if he has read the rules for alcohol tests, under the Bombay prohibition act, to which he replied in the negative. When asked if he had mentioned that the actor was under the influence of alcohol, the doctor once again replied in negative and said he did not write anything in this context in his case papers.
Further, when advocate Shiwade asked him if he had properly labeled the two vials of blood samples, as to which one contained the anti-coagulation agent and the one without it, Pawar claimed that he could not differentiate among the two samples.
After the examination of the doctor was completed, the prosecution filed an application pleading the court to allow the prosecution to examine two important witnesses in the case, one the RTO officer of Andheri -- who according to the prosecution would bring it on record that when the alleged accident took place, Salman allegedly did not possess a licence, and the second a constable who took the blood sample from the police station to the forensic science laboratory.
However, the prosecution's plea to call the RTO officer was opposed by the defence on the grounds that it was a way adopted by the prosecution to fill up the lacunae created by the defence in the prosecution's theory. The court, however, directed the prosecution to record the statement of the two and after which the court would decide if there is a need to examine the two of them. The court further adjourned the matter to February 12.
According to the prosecution, the actor in September 2002 had allegedly rammed his car on the pavement dwellers who were sleeping outside a bakery in Bandra, killing one and injuring four others.

Salman Khan's 'Bindass' Attitude Causing Security Issues!

Salman Khan

Salman Khan is one such star who is known for his 'bindass' attitude as he always likes to gel with his fans. However, this carefree attitude is supposedly causing some security issues on the sets of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan at Mandawa in Rajasthan. Although, no outsider is generally allowed to enter the premises of the shooting site, certain local boys reportedly have been making their way into the restricted zones. Kick actor Salman Khan apparently is too sweet to say no to any of his fans who approach the star for a picture. As a result several local boys with different groups have been reportedly entering the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sets which is causing security issues for the film makers. Director of Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir Khan is also reportedly not happy with the lax attitude of the security people on the sets. The movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan also features Kareena Kapoor and is set to release on July 17th.

Sri Lankan origin actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who dubbed her own dialogues in Hindi in "Kick" opposite Salman Khan, says that her command over the language improved a lot after working with the Bollywood superstar.

The actress was present at an event here Thursday when she was asked about the major difference that she noticed in her career after working with Salman in "Kick" and she said: "Actually my Hindi improved so much after working with Salman. Salman Khan And Shah Rukh Khan Out Of Filmfare Awards 2014

Salman Khan And Shah Rukh Khan Out Of Filmfare Awards 2014

With year 2015, the season of award shows began, and one of the biggest award ceremonies in Indian cinema, Filmfare Awards is right around the corner. The list of nominations for the 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards is already out and what we see is quite shocking!
Dabangg actor Salman Khan and King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh are nowhere to be seen in the nomination list. The actors who rocked the blockbuster with their commercially hit films ‘Kick’ and ‘Happy New Year’ have no nomination under their name, while Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ is nominated under the category of Best Music award, whereas SRK’s ‘Happy New Year’ managed to bag two nominations; one for Best Actor in a supporting role (Abhishek Bachchan) and another for Best Playback Singer (Shreya Ghoshal).

Both the actors, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, neither are nominated for Best Actor category nor are their films for Filmfare award in Best Film category. Well, Actors’ good friend and another Khan of Bollywood’s, Aamir is seen holding his ground in both the categories for his record breaking film ‘PK’, alongside Shahid Kapoor for his brilliant performance in ‘Haider’. Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’ is running too in the nominations, and boy, it’s running good!
Shahid’s ‘Haider’ and Kangana’s ‘Queen’, both the films have a lot of nominations in different categories in the 60th Britannia Filmfare 2014 Awards.
Even though ‘Kick’ and ‘Happy New Year’ were one of the biggest hits of 2014, actor Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t make it in the nomination for the Best Actor Filmfare Award, nor could their films for Best Film award. Just like us, we are sure that Salman and SRK fans are in big surprise as well.

Salman Khan Hit-and-Run Case: Witness Asks For Police Protection

The hearing of Salman Khan’s 2002 hit-and-run case was postponed to 22nd January yesterday after Salman’s lawyer reported ill and asked for the hearing date to be pushed ahead. The next hearing is specifically crucial considering two key witnesses are to pose before the court, one being the doctor rom J.J hospital who took Salman’s blood samples after the accident and the other is the constable who took the actor to the hospital.

Interestingly, as the hearing has been adjourned to 22nd January, one of the two witnesses, the doctor of State-run J.J hospital has now asked for police protection. The doctor without citing any specific reason has asked for it and even refused to submit the reasoning in writing.
In one of the previous hearings, a forensic expert had confirmed, double amount of the permissible level of alcohol in Salman’s blood and now it will be a turning point in the case when the doctor gives a report of the number of samples taken and their nature.

Salman Khan's TV Version: Meet the Small Screen's Chulbul Pandey

Salman Khan

Actor Bharat Chawda will be entering TV show Humsafars as a police inspector a la actor Salman Khan's character from Dabangg.

His character named Vikram Singh Rathore is said to be on the lines of Salman's Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg films. So one can expect witty one-liners with a strict, stern attitude from the Haryanvi policeman!

The thrill and suspense quotient has increased in the ongoing track of the show due to the murder of a maid in the house. Bharat will try to solve the murder case.

The lead pair - Sahir and Arzoo (played by Harshad Chopra and Shivya Pathania) - are also trying to find the killer.

Salman Khan to the rescue

Being superhuman: Being Salman Khan “means people will look up to you”. Photo: H Satish

It must have been about five years ago, sometime after Wanted released. We had just come out of a disconcerting theatrical experience in a Delhi multiplex, where men of all ages sat feet up in lounge chairs, spilling their guts into giant bags of popcorn, cheering a seriously violent vigilante Radhe played by Salman Khan, in a film that would mark his return to popular imagination. (Or so we thought. In reality, Khan never left the Indian male imagination.) Meanwhile, in Meerut, a friend reported, groups of men went to watch Bhai’s latest offering, and at a crucial moment in the film, just as Bhai seems beaten by the villain, they took off their shirts en masse and roared, “Bhaijaan, Bhaijaan, Bhaijaan,” and shirts were flung at the screen. As if on cue, Khan tore off his own shirt. Muscles ripped. Blood spilt. The friend who kept his shirt on said he could taste the adrenalin in his mouth.
Four years later, we were in Janki Talkies, Nagpur, at the first-day-first-show of Khan’s Jai Ho, to try and understand the many meanings behind this pagan ritual. We had been shooting our documentary, Being Bhaijaan, with Shan Ghosh, a Khan lookalike by profession and passion, and ‘Junior Salman’ of Nagpur. He is ‘hamara Salman’ on the Jai Salman WhatsApp group, and a beloved bhai to textile salesman Balram and ‘engineer-at-heart’ Bhaskar. Along with other Salman Khan fans, we watched Jai Ho, breathless and moist-eyed, knowing that we were recording the boys’ collective search for a larger identity to replace the very ordinary one life had handed out to them.
Mard hone ka matlab kya hai (what’s the definition of a man), we had asked boys and men across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and parts of Kolkata, researching for the documentary. Aukaat (stature), they replied. Pehchaan (identity), said others. We talked to Salman fans in cities and cities-in-the-making, where the star’s strongest fan base lies. Many of these boys were at the cusp of manhood, looking for a code to abide by. “You know, what being a Bhai means? It means everyone is going to look up to you,” said Kaif, 22, from Orai, UP. Being a Bhai seems a logical aspiration, actually. Since, the only way men defined themselves was through the roles they played. I’m a son. I’m a brother. I’m a friend. I will be a father. Not knowing where they stand, and what they should want, the grandiose lexicon of patriarchy comes to their rescue. Honour, duty, protect, provide, respect, stature — aukaat — that word, over and over again. “When people look at me they should say, ‘Woh dekho, Bhaskar jaa raha hai’,” says the grandson of a well-known wrestler in Nagpur who died in penury. “Just the way they would say, ‘Woh dekho Madho Pehelwan jaa raha hai,’” he says, surrounded by wires, designing a “top-secret product” for Salman Bhai.
Just a few years ago, India was being celebrated for having the largest number of young people in the world. Today, economists consider it a demographic nightmare. Gleaming India, one which Shah Rukh Khan represented, doesn’t seem true anymore for anybody, especially for unemployed boys fighting hard to find a purpose. Salman Khan took the stories back to mofussil India, and in film after film, stood as its protector. He also brought back the vardi, or police uniform, one that had all but disappeared after the spoils of globalisation made it irrelevant. He was clearly onto something. Vikram, 22, from Behraich said, “Three lakh engineers come out of each state every year. If I continue as an engineer, I’ll just be one of them. My dream is to be in the IPS. Everybody respects a uniform.”
Izzat (respect). This too came up repeatedly, like one of god’s own names. “Especially, when a girl says ‘aap’. Aajkal to saari ladkiyan ‘tu’ bolti hain (these days girls don’t use the higher register of address),” says Balram, as he sets up a new page for the Jai Salman group on Facebook to rescue it from trolls. “The way Sonakshi Sinha says it…” he adds, blushing.
We’re sitting in a sea of cafes in Safdarjung Development Area, roughly half an hour and two civilisations away from Najafgarh. Rajesh, 35, points out various groups of men, most are friends or friend’s friends, since all Jats are brothers, really. He shares tales of growing up in bordering Haryana, of a new rush of money, of falling in love with women you were only allowed to watch from the terrace. Of never being touched by a woman, in case you got killed. “When we came here first, we were so shocked. We saw all these women. They talked differently. They wore different clothes. It was mesmerising. Everyone fell in love. Madly. The women used them, ditched them. The men just didn’t understand.”
This complete bafflement at the “new woman” often comes out as suspicion. Stories abound in small-town India, in big-town India, in cafes and bars, in chai shops and at the barber’s, that she, the woman, broke his heart. She left him. She said no. “Even Salman Bhai is unmarried because of this,” says Shan aka Junior Salman. “Because he said he’ll marry a woman with the sanskar (values) of his mother. But those girls are no longer in the market.”
While the Indian woman was finding a new language to fight patriarchy, while she was learning to say no, the Indian man found himself rudderless, set out at sea. Rejection is a powerful force. And in Salman Khan’s films, the woman never says no.
Salman Khan, a protector of folk-hero proportions, is impervious to a failed liberalisation dream. Khan embodies the narrative of self-reliance. ‘Mujhpe ek ehsaan karna, ke mujh-pe koi ehsaan na karna’ (Do me the favour of not doing a favour). Shohini Ghosh, professor, essayist and filmmaker, who has been working with masculinity and fandom, and has a chapter on Khan in her PhD, once told us, “For anybody who has not been on top of the post-liberalisation boom of the last decade, for anybody who has witnessed the liberalisation benefits but from far, who have brushed against it but not ridden it… they like Salman Khan… And since, in today’s country, you can’t depend on anyone else and the system will fail you — your body will be your only weapon.”
There are more gyms in small-town India than cyber cafes. A gym trainer in Chhindwara, dressed in a fitted red T-shirt with a plunging V neckline, says, “Every hero today has a six-pack. But it all started with (the song) O O Jaane Jaana, when Bhai took off his shirt.” These men-only gyms have been crafting a new body for the Indian male, a Kshatriya body, which relies heavily on upper-body strength. More importantly, it’s a body on display, like a painting, joyous and hairless. If Michelangelo were to paint today, he’d set his canvas on the streets of Meerut and Chhindwara.
At various points in history, we’re reminded what it is to be men and women, lest we forget, lest society dissolve. We’re taught to protect ourselves against a cruel world, lest we forget, that to live is to fight. For men and women suffer equally, cry equally, to create an identity under an overwhelmingly patriarchal society. If we had feminism to help us through this mess, Bhai fans, it seems, have Salman Khan.

Salman exist the Bigg Boss as it got extended and he had to shoot for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman Khan to sing again?

Salman Khan to sing again?

Salman will sing for sure. The song we have has a RD Burman kind of energy and I've been urging him to record the track. I can't wait to get him in front of the mic,” says Pritam.
The composer also added that the Kabir Khan film was one of the best scripts which he had read in a long time. “There is nothing communal about it, it's a human story of a man and a child. Once they see it, no community will find anything objectionable in it. It's not a typical Salman Khan film, yet only he can do justice to the script. Kabir and I are working on song situations and I'm sure we'll come up with an interesting album,” adds Pritam.

First Bigg Boss 8 Weekend Ka Vaar Without Salman Khan (But With Farah)

First BB8 Weekend Ka Vaar Without Salman (With Farah)

Bigg Boss 8's new series Bigg Boss Halla Bol has the first Weekend Ka Vaar and the first actual weekend without Salman Khan hosting the show. It will also mark Farah Khan's first full weekend! With Salman Khan out of the picture on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 8, the Halla Bol series has completed one week without a glimpse from Salman on the show. This weekend will be the first Bigg Boss Halla Bol Weekend Ka Vaar with Farah Khan.

Salman has expressed his regret over not being able to complete the full show and the viewers have been making do without the superstar every night. The full fledged fights among the contestants has managed to make up for it to an extent but the void will be actually felt this weekend. It will also mark the first Weekend Ka Vaar hosted completely by Farah. Though the first episode last Sunday had some hiccups, it was expected and understandable considering the huge shoes she is trying to fill on the stage. Anyhow, hoping the Bigg Boss Halla Bol Weekend Ka Vaar will be a better one this time and the explicitly loud fights the contestants have had will keep the two weekend episodes entertaining.

Salman Khan's 'Bodyguard' to have a Sequel; Will Kareena Kapoor Romance the Star Again?

Salman Khan

Salman Khan, who has a busy schedule this year with a list of films lined up for release, has reportedly given a nod to the sequel of his superhit "Bodyguard" (2011).

"Bodyguard" received positive response from the audience, and since then the makers have been mulling over the sequel of the film. Produced by brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, the prequel also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite the actor.
"The sequel was being planned for some time now. But the makers couldn't zero in on a script. But now, the script has been found, and it has also got a nod from Salman. Although when the film will go on floors is not clear — as Salman has a number of commitments to take care of — the sequel is definitely going to take off," a source told Hindustan Times.
However, producer Agnihotri refuses to comment on the sequel. "I don't want to comment on the status of Bodyguard's sequel right now. If I say anything, there will be one question after another. When everything gets finalised, I will be the first one to talk about it," he said.
With the news of Salman in "Bodyguard 2", it remains to be seen if Kareena will be roped in to romance the star in the sequel or the makers will launch a newbie.
Last month, there were also reports that Salman's "Kick" (2014) is up for a sequel as producer Sajid Nadiadwala was said to have registered a title "Devil" for his next project. However, it is not clear if the project is the sequel to Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez's blockbuster.

Meanwhile, the "Kick" star is busy shooting for two projects simultaneously, Kabir Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Sooraj Barjatya "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". He has also joined hands with Karan Johar for his next project "Shuddhi".
Salman was recently spotted shooting for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" in a remote village Mandawa in Rajasthan. The film is looking for Eid 2015 release.

After Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan speaks in support of Aamir Khan's 'PK'

Aamir Khan's PK released on December 19 and ever since then, the film has managed to shatter all previous box office records including the ones set by contemporaries Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. But the film, along with its huge lifetime collections also sparked a lot of protests for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
The PK controversy shook the entire industry but the film fraternity stood by the PK team, pledging support to the film. Good friend Salman Khan went on to Twitter to openly show his support to PK. After Salman, Shah Rukh Khan too backed the Aamir Khan starrer.
At a recent event when SRK was asked about his opinion on the PK controversy, he said, "When a film has already been censored, it should not be questioned at all. Indian films pass through a rigorous censor and once that's done, it's officially passed. But there will always be people who will have some problem or the other but they should not take it into the system where the whole idea of censorship becomes totally banal"
PK has already entered the Rs 300 crore club and become the highest Bollywood grosser of all time. With the pace at which the film is running, it will add in a few more crores before finishing its lifetime run in the range of Rs 330- 340 crore

After PK, now Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Will Salman Khan starer movie also face ire of Hindu outfits?

After Aamir, is it Salman's turn now?

Protests over controversial movie 'PK' are yet not over and another similar upheaval is brewing. Now, experts are raising concern that Salman Khan starer movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan will also meet similar fate as PK. It is being said that Bajrangi Bhaijaan is based on Love Jihad phenomena. Reportedly, in the film, a Hindu girl Kareena Kapoor falls in love with a Muslim boy Salman Khan. After Aamir, is it Salman's turn now? Recently, anti-conversion rhetoric of RSS and other similar affiliates like Love Jihad and Ghar wapsi episode raised much uproar. Experts say that such rhetoric of Hindu hotheads may pose communal harmony in the country at risk. At a time when Bajrang Dal and other Hindu organisations are openly supporting the protest against PK, it is plausible that Salman Khan will also have tough time in the coming days. Earlier, scores of Bajrang Dal activists on Wednesday staged protest outside two cinema halls in delhi demanding a ban on Aamir Khan starrer 'PK' for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The demonstrations took place outside PVR cinema in Vasant Vihar of south-west Delhi and Gagan Cinema in Nand Nagri of north-east Delhi this morning. They also raised slogans against the movie demanding ban on its screening across the country. "The screening of the movie should immediately be banned as it hurts the sentiments of Hindus. Besides, an FIR should also be registered against the star cast of the movie," said a protester. Similar protest has been happening across the country since movie was released on December 19.
